Smokeless Fuel

As the name suggests, smokeless fuels have been designed with the environment in mind and are the latest product from the solid fuel industry

Fuels that have been tested to ensure that they are capable of burning without producing excess smoke, such as Anthracite & Charcoal, are named ‘Smokeless’.

Becoming more popular after the 1956 Clean Air Act, which was an attempt to make the air quality in towns and cities better after the ‘Great Smog’ of London in 1952.
